In brief

Compass is a purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development comprising 290 self-contained studio apartments.

Brought forward by joint venture partners Harrison Street (HSRE) and Torsion Developments, the prism-shaped building will rise to 15 storeys tall, with a 5-storey shoulder.

Constructed in blue brick at the base & black glass spandrels and metallic silver finishes on the upper floors, Compass will feature a large amenity space on the ground floor, with a reception area, management suite, break-out areas, study space, games area, lounges, laundry, gym, dining room & a mezzanine area for secure cycle storage.

Between the blocks, a new landscaped courtyard will be created, providing seating areas and Wi-Fi. Predominately a car-free affair, three disabled bays will be provided alongside 114 covered cycle spaces.
