The Custard Factory - A Birmingham Gem

The Custard Factory in Digbeth has been at the heart of much of the City’s history and will be at the heart of its future as a location of art, creativity and innovation.


Devonshire House on High Street Deritend in Digbeth was built in 1902 for Alfred Bird and Sons Limited who produced egg free custard

They continued at this site until 1964 when production was relocated to Banbury.

The Custard Factory is famed for it’s graffiti street art which changes regularly
