CENTRE OF SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION

The iconic 1920s James Cond print works building has been transformed into a sustainable (EPC A) construction training centre for University College Birmingham.

The Centre of Sustainable Construction offers state-of-the-art courses and facilities specifically designed to train learners with skills that support employers and their supply chains.

It specialises in providing robust courses that support the region’s growth areas, including cyber and digital skills, sustainable methods, manufacturing technologies, renewable energy, and robotics.

Its revitalisation brings new life to the site while honouring the area's rich tapestry of history and delivering essential skills, jobs, and training opportunities to the city, which is expected to support more than 1,200 learners by 2025.
