Bournville Park, Birmingham - A wonderful open space!
Bournville's green environment reflects the aim of George Cadbury that one-tenth of the estate should be "laid out and used as parks, recreation grounds and open space".
This is a beautiful little Park. Very close to Bournville Green with a small children's play area. The Bourn flows through the park.
The park is located on Linden Road in Bournville on the A4040. Part of the Outer Circle, 11A and 11C bus routes. It stretches to the west towards Oak Tree Lane and Selly Oak Road. There is also side entrances to Bournville Parkfrom Beech Road (to the south) and Thorn Road (to the north).
There is also a Bowling Green and tennis courts. Plus Bournville Village Primary School is quite close by.
