COLMORE GATE
Colmore Gate [CG] proposes a series of interventions, resulting in a part 10, part 26 storey office and retail destination (99.3m).
Establishing a premier modern-day employment hub, 87% of all foundations here would be reused and its structure recycled, lowering embodied carbon and facilitating the construction of a low/zero carbon structure (BREEAM 'Excellent').
In addition to private balconies and a biodiverse rooftop terrace at floors one, seven, eight and nine, interventions include the extension of CG and the installation of a new, high-performance facade.
The building's interior proposes remodelled conference rooms, workspaces, booths, a club lounge, well-being areas, and an auditorium.
Alongside The Colmore Club, serving young businesses, two commercial units totaling 2,583K SF would also be created, along with an improved public realm and spaces for 299 cycles.
Colmore Gate is scheduled to create up to 3,600 jobs and generate £209M in economic output per year.
